Akli Begum, 51, a woman deserted by her husband 15 years ago returned and lived in her parents’ home. However only one adult in the family earned a living. They all usually ate meals by sharing whatever amount they could cook whether it filled them or not.
Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to provide the family with nutritious iftar and pre-dawn meals throughout the whole month of Ramadan. There was no way of them being able to afford the variety of food products provided by Sylhet Aid food packs.
