Mehedi's Story
Mehedi is twelve years old and has been orphaned since birth. He lives in the Habigonj district of Bangladesh. After his father passed away, his mother was thrown out of her marital home while she was pregnant. Sadly after Mehedi was born his mother passed away. Mehedi's grandparents took care of him, however as they were elderly they could not work, had no income and therefore they often starved.
We found the house to be unsafe with a leaking roof and unstable structure. The funds raised kindly through one of our donors as Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) was used to build Mehedi and his famliy a new home.
