13 Rivers Trust is delighted to announce the launch of the Streams Leadership Programme, a unique initiative designed to nurture the next generation of Muslim youth leaders. The 12-week programme, beginning Saturday 4th October 2025, combines spiritual grounding, practical skills, and community engagement to prepare participants for leadership rooted in service and integrity.
The programme is open to young people aged 17–20 who are committed to their growth, eager to serve their communities, and open to being invested in. Participants will also benefit from a 10-week paid internship, allowing them to put their learning into practice within 13 Rivers Trust’s community projects.
Why the Streams Leadership Programme?

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.”

Grounded in this Prophetic teaching, the Streams Leadership Programme seeks to develop leaders who combine faith, knowledge, and action. Expert facilitators will deliver interactive workshops across key areas, equipping participants with the confidence and tools to lead with vision and compassion.

• Conscious Campaigning & Activism
• Fundraising with Integrity
• Compassionate Presence & Emotional Wellbeing
• Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy
• Earth Stewardship
• Communication & Public Speaking
• Community Building (including Muslim Burial Fund)
• Preparing for Work
• Legacy Work

Sessions will run on Saturdays from 10:00–3:00 PM, led by expert mentors and facilitators who bring both professional expertise and deep community experience.
