After our visit to the hospital, we made our way to the outskirts of Cairo and went to meet with Medics Worldwide.
Medics Worldwide are an NGO registered in Turkiye. They operate in multiple countries providing medical support to the people of Gaza and surrounding countries.
Warehouse and Factory
We visited their warehouse and met with members of their team. One of their staff had just arrived in Cairo.
Members of her family were martyred in Gaza and she managed to escape with her mum and sister.
Many of their team members have also been martyred since October 2023.

Ambulance and Mobile Medical Clinics
The warehouse was full of ambulances and mobile medical clinics ready to be deployed into Gaza.
They also had multiple field teams in Gaza providing medical support. One team were committed to the rebuilding of Al-Shifa Hospital.
They continue to operate in Gaza working in impossible conditions serving the people of Gaza in their time of need.
